Cyprus Archive of Doctoral Dissertations

The Cyprus Archive of Doctoral Dissertations (CADD) serves as the unified portal for the registration and access of doctoral-level research conducted in Cyprus.

CADD encompasses Doctoral Dissertations (DD) that have been completed or are in progress at Cypriot universities and research institutions.

Its mission is to support the academic and research community at both national and European levels, functioning as a reference point for doctoral research produced by Cypriot universities. At the same time, it fosters the development of collaborations and promotes a broader culture of cooperation.

The Cyprus Archive of Doctoral Dissertations was established following the proposal of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of the University of Cyprus, Professor Tatiana-Eleni Synodinou, and the decision of the Cyprus Universities Rectors’ Conference. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Cyprus Libraries Consortium (CLC).

CADD adheres to the principles of Open Science, as defined by the Cyprus National Policy on Open Science. Its primary objective is to enhance the international visibility of the Cypriot research community and to optimize the dissemination of scientific knowledge generated by Cypriot academic institutions.
