CYPRUS LIBRARIES CONSORTIUM

The Cyprus Libraries Consortium (CLC) is a non-profit organization with the primary goal of fostering collaboration among the Libraries of Cyprus and providing informational resources to the academic, educational, and research community of its member organizations.

Purposes and Objectives

• Promote the highest possible level of collaboration among the Libraries of Cyprus, with the ultimate aim of establishing policies and coordinating actions for the development and enhancement of Cypriot Libraries.
• Expand membership by including more institutions for effective collaboration.
• Participate in local, European, and international research and development programs.
• Create economies of scale in informational infrastructures and training, as well as monitor developments in Cypriot Libraries.

Founding Members

Founding members include both public and private universities in Cyprus. Collaborating members may include research centers and other libraries.
