PROJECT MONITORING AND IMPLEMENTATION

Responsible body for project monitoring:

Responsible Institution for project supervision:

University of Cyprus under the supervision of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of UCY, Professor Tatiana-Eleni Synodinou.

The University of Cyprus maintains the overall coordination and supervision of the project, as well as its monitoring, in collaboration with all responsible bodies and individuals through the CCL, with the aim of continuously updating the policy and operational procedures of THESESCUT.

Specifically, this includes the creation of detailed submission and usage guides, the adoption of best practices, the monitoring of THESESCUT’s development and enrichment, as well as ensuring the financial and technical sustainability of the project.

Furthermore, it is responsible for communication with the authorized individuals or services of each institution to ensure the correct and timely enrichment of THESESCUT.

Responsible body for the development, support, and coordination of the infrastructure:

Consortium of Cypriot Libraries.

The CCL is responsible for the development, support, and coordination of THESESCUT’s infrastructure through CUT.

The CCL does not assume any responsibility regarding the terms of availability agreed upon by each Institution between itself and its Doctoral students concerning Intellectual Property Rights issues.

THESESCUT Management Team:

The CCL appoints responsible staff from their institutions who will serve as communication hubs between the institutions and THESESCUT for practical matters. These responsible individuals support the operation of THESESCUT and will conduct a formal check regarding the completeness and correctness of the required data (metadata) for each doctoral dissertation (DD) submitted. After successful completion of the check, they proceed with the official registration of the DD in THESESCUT.
